Decided I'll keep posting hockey like I promised - or was that a threat??? =) Not MY "perfect" shot yet...I'm saving it - I'm sooooo happy and excited about it!
I mean I'm so excited about it that I'm considering taking it with me Wednesday so I can have something to be happy about after waking up - well, aside from the hey I woke up and that in itself feels pretty good, part! =)
Apparently Chris Pronger is a Public Enemy. Known as playing dirty. A hated player. I never knew...but then again I don't often pay much attention to what other people say or think. I make up my own mind and I've always liked him. Wondered what was up near the end of the game when that side of the rink started booing him whenever he had the puck. What? Did I get transported to Edmonton? This is Minnesota - why are you hating on him??? He had a chance to completely flatten one Wild player during the game and I was soooo ready for it - but he didn't - even sidestepped him so he didn't get hit at all: how is that playing dirty? I think he's great - and now that he's a Flyer I think he's even great-ER!
Seemed to be playing alittle hesitantly in my perspective (I wondered if he had a bit of an ankle sprain) but he was still well worth my price of admission. Took around 100 shots at the game and probably 75 were of Chris. Not quite as towering as I expected but I didn't have any problems picking him out during the action! And just as graceful and calm with the puck as on TV. Very cool! And oh man do I love hockey!
